Narrabeen Lagoon Trail

A scenic 8.4km circuit around Narrabeen Lagoon (Narrabeen Lakes) on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Completed as an uninterrupted loop in 2015, the trail mixes foreshore paths with boardwalks and steel bridges through diverse bushland and lagoon views. It’s popular with walkers, runners, and cyclists—dogs are welcome but must be on-leash.

Hours
24/7 (daylight recommended)
Parking
Multiple paid car parks around the lagoon (can be expensive). Good starting points: Middle Creek Reserve, Bilarong Reserve, Jamieson Park. Street parking may be available in nearby suburbs.

Tips
A clockwise lap from Middle Creek is an easy, logical way to follow the loop. Weekends can be busy with bikes and joggers—use a short leash, especially on narrow boardwalks and bridges. There are great stopovers for a break and a picnic around Berry Reserve and Bilarong Reserve.
